Ruth Ann Hendrickson, Watercolor Artist
I am constantly transfixed by the beauty of the world: The way the light flows around and across an object, sudden glowing light from back reflections, the wash of color across a dawn or evening sky, the mosaic of colors in the bark of a tree, the way sunlight filters through back-lit hair or stained-glass leaves. The moment is there for only an instant. I catch it in my camera and mind’s eye, then try to share it with the world through paper and paint.
